4 red chili peppers, sliced
4 green chili peppers, sliced

1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon of water
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of oil
Instructions
Heat up the oil in a wok or deep frying pan over high heat.
Sautee garlic, ginger and onion until fragrant.
Add in chicken and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is slightly browned.
Add in the red and green chili peppers and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar.
Pour in 1/2 cup of water and allow the mixture to come to a boil.
Cover the wok or frying pan and simmer the chicken for 10-15 minutes until cooked thoroughly.
Stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Transfer the Ayam Masak Halia onto a serving dish and garnish with coriander or spring onion.
