- Add the raisins, cashews, and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Pour in 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil on high heat. Once it boils, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes until the water is completely absorbed and the rice is fluffy and cooked through.

- 1 whole chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can tomato puree (400g)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. chili paste
- 1 tbsp. tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large pot and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and golden brown.
- Add the chicken pieces and sauté until the chicken is browned on all sides.
- Add the tomato puree, chili paste, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in half a cup of water and bring it to a boil on high heat.
- Once it boils, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
